In Baton Rouge, it was either The Thirsty Tiger or Tabby's Blues Box. This was in high school when the drinking age was still 18 so it was pretty easy to get into and drink at dive bars.

Honeys on the Westbank expressway. I am also pretty sure they ran an underage female escort business ran out of it.

I graduated high school in 1989 and that was the last year it was 18 - it changed to 19 in 90, 20 in 91, and 21 in 92. Because of the grandfather clause, people my age were able to legally drink all through college.
Louisiana was the last state to change, I’m almost certain.

Silver moon cafe was the first place I was served, was probably in 10th or 11th grade. By the time I was 17, we all had someone’s ID and could get in anywhere

Black Lake Club in Maurepas by boat from Blind River, leaving from the old Sycamore Inn end of Airline Canal.
We were in 9th grade and danced our butts off with the local women. No one cared how old we were.
