What was your family game night "go-to"?

For my family, it was always Rummy. We would mix it up every now and then, with Boggle probably being our other most popular game.
Over Thanksgiving, my family stayed at my parents, and once the kids were in bed, me, my wife, and my Mom and Dad would stay up every night playing Rummy. They still get quite competitive. My 70 year old Mom is still one of the most competitive people I know.
Good memories. I hope to continue this with my own family.

No shite, my grandfather had a craps table built so he could practice his “swing”. I would roll a bunch with him and then he would try to teach me to count cards.

My parents used to host booray (assuming that’s how it’s spelled) games every weekend at the house.

Dominoes!
The winner(s) strutted and danced around the table, stopping behind the opponent(s) and gently rubbing them on the head.

My wife and I play SkipBo and Triomino's a good bit. Phase10 as well.
With the entire family at Thanksgiving we played a lot of Scattergories and Catch Phrase. When the kids were bored of it the adults mixed up some drinks and played Taboo. Good times

Bourree. Saturday night card nights. They stopped. After my Parain was left for dead on a vent in 2020 and passed away, we revived the tradition. My uncle's last words to me before passed from liver failure was "frick you", after I won a pot.
