Rummikube, Sequence, Yhatzee, Hunt the Jew, Kings in the Corner, Poker were the staples. Sometimes it would be Pictionary or Monopoly.

As a kid, Tri-ominos.

When I lived in a subdivision, we used to go next door and play Phase 10 with the neighbors. We'd drink beer, laugh and play until the wee hours of the morning.

At one time if was Trivial Pursuit. But my wife got tiered of me winning every time. She even bought a “90s” version of the game in an effort to win. I still beat her. So now we usually stick to either Monopoly, Life, or Yahtzee.
