Seinfeld, Simpsons, Nirvana, Sublime, Metallica, Rap went from a joke to cool. Air Jordan, Mike Tyson, Bo Jackson. Kelly Kapowski was fine. Skip Bertman had his run. The worst part was Clinton politicizing the CIA which I believe set us up for 9/11

I can think of several years in the 90s that were great.

I'm turning 42 later this year and I must say I absolutely love and miss the 90s... Especially the latter half.

1996-1998
96 Atlanta Olympics and 98 home run chase was PEAK Americana
You also had the bulls doing there thing, the cowboys and 49ers on top, Green Bay coming alive
Seinfeld was still rolling, friends was rolling
It truly was peak America

80s were the peak with a slight decline in the 90s. Then society just plummeted after 9/11, the patriot act and the smartphone a few years later.

1994 was a big year.
- OJ running from the cops
- Cobain’s suicide
- No World Series due to the strike
- Rap music continued rise with Death Row Records
- Newt Gingrich and the Republican sweep of the ‘94 midterms
- NAFTA and the eventual outsourcing of millions of jobs
- US hosts World Cup which Brazil wins over Italy
