I did a thread similar to this awhile back, asking what was the peak year of the 80’s. I recall most of you saying that 1984 was the peak year of that decade, for multiple reasons.

My question today is, what year do you consider to be the peak of the 1990’s? What year defined that decade the most in your opinion?

You mean when a style worn by poor kids hit the run way, and flannel shirts went from thrift store to Dillard's?

90-92 was peak Grunge... After that, drugs hit and the pretenders took over. 1991, AIC was already established, Pearl Jam hit big with Ten, Nirvana Nevermind, Rage Against the Machine, RHCP - BSSM, Primus, REM hit big, Smashing Pumpkins, GnR Use Your Illusion, Metallica Black album, etc.

Every year of the 90s was pretty awesome for me. Almost my entire higher education spanned the 90s and it is amazing I made it out alive much less with degrees.
