In Baton Rouge in 80s-90s we had 102 and Z98(now eagle 98.1) for popular music. I remember Z98 beat 102 to the punch with Ice Ice Baby by a whole weekend in 1991.
That was a a big deal to 15 yr olds tuning into radio every night.
