I would think that LSU, ULL, LA Tech, and Tulane at a minimum will add several degree programs that would serve the port.

None that I know of. My son wanted aerospace but switched to mech engineering to attend LSU.

I knew one person who was an aerospace engineer. He perpetually was in a cycle of making bank and then getting laid off.

ULL's big into mechanical engineering due to the oilfield.

I think LA Tech is the only one with a formal aerospace engineering degree program and not just a mechanical engineering concentration.
