Doing some cleaning out and we came across at least 250-300 CDs (that’s short for “compact disc”, Gen Z).

Only one of our vehicles even has a CD player and we don’t have any use for them.

Aside from just throwing them away - any place to get rid of them?

Save them and sell them to the Gen Theta hipsters in 2070 for big Bitcoin.

Don/t worry about it. I am looking at hundreds of albums right now that I can't bring myself to throw away.

Vintage, I like it.

90s - early 00s culture is making a comeback with the youth of today. Find a dumb 20 year old and tell them your CDs are an investment for the future, like art.

If you have an old ace of base CD, I'd offer you $3.50 for it.

Id hang on to them. The older we get the more important physical media becomes. Value aside, there is just something to be said about being able to play the stuff you own.

Find a place to donate them to. Or call this man's son, he will have to make an honest living after molesting a child once he comes competent enough to stand trial.

I have a bad habit of impulse buying CDs every time I go to Target or somewhere. It's like a compulsion, I still have to browse the music.

My parents just sent me a bunch of my old stuff they got sick of having around, including two of those big binders. Got a bunch of great mix CDs from middle and high school now.

I have a big box of old tapes too. Not sure why I've never tossed them out. I haven't bought a CD or tape in many years.

In college my truck got broken into on Burbank and I was way more pissed they took my CD book than my detachable face Alpine radio with the face above the sun visor

We need an alphabetical list by genre so we can pick out what we want.

I read the subject and thought for sure this was a thread about certificates of deposit.
