My mom man. She's a very sweet lady but she buys some random stuff sometimes

Pro tip for buying for dad: go to Home Depot and pick out ANYTHING. Not sure why moms and kids haven't figured this one out yet. I got cologne and a set of DC animated movies (suspicious someone else really wanted that one).

My MiL gave both me and her daughter flashlights that plug into the car to charge. Mind you, these are the cheapest, dimmest, worst pieces of shite stocking stuffers they have ever put on a shelf at Kohl's.
It's the second time she has given us flashlights for our cars. A few years ago she also gave us ones that double as a hammer to break windows in case of emergency.
I also got a hat cage for washing ball caps, and some other shite I'll never use that I don't even remember.
They know I love guns, my FiL also loves guns and accompanying accoutrements, yet they never buy me anything for guns. It's maddening.

My mom got me the board game “MouseTrap”. I actually really enjoyed assembling it and watching the cause and effect
I used to have this game when I was like 10

I have gotten an angle grinder 3 years in a row

If you're smart you'll tell her how much you love them but that she didn't need to get you anything...will really mess with her head. Also, how did you not know it was a giant troll on her part?

She gave me drills/saws for approximately 4 yrs in a row. I’m like “Mom, I didn’t need the first saw you gave me...”

That’s awesome actually. I could imagine it’s great when you have kids. I would use it to keep track of batteries for my GF’s toys.

Brother and sister in law got us a cardinal picture that had random tacky lights that light up.

Not gonna lie, I want this, I didn't know battery trays existed.
Pass me my autism card.

I'm sure it would be pretty practical for some. I usually only keep a handful of AA, AAA and one 9 volt for when my smoke alarm starts chirping at 3am.

An employee gave me a jacket to put my ThermaCELL in. She doesn't even know if I have a thermacell. I do and it came with a carrying case.
