You can never go by the control for the real room temperature. Depending on where the sensor is the real temp can vary a lot.

I’d be a miserable prick if I had to sleep @ 75. 75 is our day temp and 69-70 is night time.

Keep it on 75 when away from home. If we're at home during the day, 72. At night it's on 70

I don't think our house has ever been above or below 72 at any point since we've been married. She will run the AC unit into the dirt maintaining the inside temp.

I run my ceiling fans 24x7. Thermostat set at 75 when I'm home and 77 when I'm gone. Monthly Entergy/Gas bill in the Winter is about $60-70 and Summer $90-120.

Wife would have it at 65 24/7 in the summer if she could. I don't mind it that cold, but the power bills would be insane. I can handle 74, but we keep it at 72 during the day, 69 at night.

I like it cool.

My wife likes 70-72 and I like 74-76. I get cold easily, and she is damn near an eskimo.

I prefer Artic circle cold and she prefers Africa hot. It is a topic of discussion frequently at the house. I bet the thermostat get moved at least 10 times on Saturday and Sunday
