I've seen it up close plain as day moving slow. Imagine a cessna flying 200 feet off the ground perpendicular to your path. It flew directly over me at around 30 - 40 MPH. It was surreal. Yes I was in Louisiana when it happened, it was about a week after Katrina hit New Orleans. It happened just above Slaughter on highway 19.

I was using this event, fictitious or not, to explain my main point. But you are correct in not assuming anything we hear from our government is accurate or even truthful at times. For example, WMDs in Iraq. Never existed. So, yeah.
