So you do her nails too?

Was printer ink. Here lately it’s deodorant. Old Spice went from about $2.69 a stick to $6 bucks. Rediculous

Canned soft drinks. I don’t buy them, but my husband will. $8-12 for a 12-pack is hard to take out of principle when it wasn’t THAT long ago they were half that price.

Less than 8 yrs ago they were 3 12 packs for $10.

Exactly what happened on the island of Aruba. If you get away from the tourist zone there’s trash on every empty lot. So now they pour diesel on their landfill and burn it. It’s quite conservationist of them.

$20 for a crappy Subway sammich is just ridiculous.

This is the one that's confused me...who is paying that? someone must be or it would be that high. For $20 I could get a sit down meal and a damn cocktail

Cheez Its are like $6 a regular box and a regular thing of orange juice is like $6-7. They should never be any more than maybe $3.

This is correct. I brew beer from time to time. For fun, I factored in as many expenses as I could and allocated nominal amounts for water and propane even. I think the cost per 12 oz pour was $.20 for ingredients. If I was doing something fancier, we got close to the $.50 per 12 oz pour.

I looked into opening a brewery and got quotes for equipment costs. Fermenters, mash tuns, glycol chillers, kegs, bottling equipment were damn near the 7 figure mark for a smaller operation. And tack on rent and taproom additional expenses, it seemed like you had to charge $7 a beer to stay afloat. Doesn't make the bill any easier to swallow at tap rooms.

I just bought and programmed a new key fob because of this post. I owe you a beer…but I can only afford to buy you one after reading this entire thread seeing if I could get any other ideas.

I don’t like the “level loading” charge at the country club.

I’d rather decide who and when I want to tip.
