Suff-EYE-cent instead of Suff- ISH-int
I believe you are confusing 'suff-eye-cent' with 'suffice it'.
As in, 'suffice it to say'.
They aren't saying "sufficient to say".

The word 'faux' is quickly rising the ranks.

I said Zed in a car thread and was crucified

faux
I have been guilty of saying this a few times over the past couple weeks to describe the 'faux' outrage surrounding everything Trump and identity politics. What's a substitute I can use in that case? Fabricated ?

When someone subtle-brags about, for example, their car, instead of saying "the car," they'll say "the Lexus."
I used to work with someone who bought some farm land and built a house there. Instead of saying "I'm going home," she would say "I'm going to the farm."

When someone is finished explaining something to you then they say "does that make sense?" in a "i am right" tone
This and the OP's example of saying "right" are completely pretentious. It is basically saying "i am smart, you are dumb, let me teach you something"

Currently watching a youtube video, and the person being interviewed says "right?" at the end of all of their own sentences.
100% agree with you.

Or something along the lines of “Do you follow?” Or “Let me know if I’m confusing/losing you.”
Also anyone that uses fountain pens or wax seals for envelopes. This SCREAMS pretentious.

People who say "vahse" instead of "vase."

Never thought of that. Damn, man. I've been feeling all high and mighty saying suff eye cent.

It isn't pretentious for me to say I'm better than you, it's just the truth.

So you think I'm pretentious when I say "The Blazer"?

when someone says "xyz is problematic"

I remember my first year at UGA. After I told them where I was from...
"Do you know so and so?".
On the one hand they're just trying to make polite conversation.
On the other hand, they (females exclusively) are "thinning the herd searching for a mate".
^Is this a sexist statement? You bet it is.
Where could I go with such insight, such knowledge of the female psych. Their reasoning, motivations and end game. Their plasticity, their narcissism and vanity.
I've been married to the nicest woman I ever met for almost 40 years. I still love her and always will.
