My wife has one and it is awesome. I am seeing more women driving expeditions now.

I mostly see women in jeeps, especially those compass and renegades

It is a good and reliable vehicle with lots of room for taking kids to soccer practice and/or getting dicked down while the kids are at soccer practice.

Don’t forget the Benz jeep

They are too damned expensive.
After 300K, I would disagree.

Dunno. This one chick at work is maybe 5-1 and drives a new trd with a lift. She looks like the type that would drive a civic or something. Whatever floats her boat I guess.

My guess is that the Forester is about the only SUV with a higher rate of female drivers than the 4Runner.

Just too dependable for the cost and maintenance.
My family had a 1994 4 runner and sold it after 250k miles to a family member who just moved in town. Bought a 2006.
Currently, 2006 over 215k miles
Never had an issue yet.
Will likely get another one after this as well.

the back folds down into a large roomy bed for frickin jodie so you dont get caught by hubby coming home early

It's a super reliable car that never changes body style so they hold a frickton of trade in value.
Do they still put that shitty 5 speed transmission in them?

Yes, still shitty 5-speed

When their man can't buy them a Bentley Bentayga or at least an X5M the 4Runner is an option that says they have the sense to buy a best in class vehicle.

All SUVs have high female ownership. What kind of guy is driving an SUV

I’ve enjoyed my TRD after having a Tahoe and Silverado as previous vehicles
I don’t spend my weekends rock climbing or submerged in mud pits so I don’t really care if the 4WD isn’t the best option on the market

Think you meant to say Rav4

I’m curious about the downvotes. I thought this was common knowledge. $40k for a TRD Off Road vs $50k for the Pro. You pay $10k for $2k rims that the dealer has in stock wrapped in ok tires, $2k for shocks, a roof basket, and skid plate. The special color is not worth $5k.
The T4R boards are littered with Pro take-off parts.

Eta....those downvoting clearly have zero idea about real 4wd
Please enlighten me.
The 4wd and locking rear/center work really well on mine. I've taken it all over kisatchie with no problem.
Honestly if you need more capability than a 4runner on ATs gives you, then you're probably rock climbing, or doing some other similar hard core recreational offloading.

Put that bitch on snow and it becomes untrustworthy. Seen it too many times.
Eta....no lockers, lift kit, or aggressive tires on my rig and I'll bury your 4runner in the snow.

Weird flex, but ok. Next time it snows in south Louisiana you can come and show me.
Still waiting on that explanation of "real 4wd", or was that just a bunch of blowhard nonsense like the rest of your posts?
