I’m convinced it’s a troll job. But what do I know. He’s probably some drunk kid on his daddy’s account. I’m still waiting on that 4wd logic he was gonna tell us all about tho.

Snow brah, 4runner isnt shite in snow. So, to you and your rig that's real 4wd territory.

I live in Rhode Island.
As a 4Runner owner, I’d like to respectfully disagree.
Our last Nor’easter, the 4Runner performed quite well. Better than the F150 I had for the previous 15 years. Won’t go back.

I would drive a 4runner before an f150 but I personally would take the latter in heavy snow.

Just me from my experiences.

They’re good vehicles. Women really need minivans though.

Good question, my wife has had 2.

Her old 2000 4Runner is still running for the people we sold it to.

My GF wanted one as well. Not sure. She wants a Jeep too. She is pretty outdoorsy so it makes some sense. She wants a stick too..which is hot. To bad I cant get her into motorcycles :/

It makes them feel badass and threatening for some reason. Women like that kind of stuff. It’s the same with Jeep Wranglers.

No you won't.

You seemed to have confused this thread with the "Best 4wd vehicle" thread.

4WD on snow covered roads is a really bad idea. This is where AWD has the advantage as it can balance the power without spinning you into a ditch when you suddenly lose traction on one side of the vehicle.

That's a perfectly reasonable opinion to have, but it's not what you said.

What you said was the 4runner doesnt have "real 4wd". I just wanted to know if you actually knew what you were talking about, or if you were just talking out of your arse.

I think I have my answer.

Brothers Le'Talvis Cobbins and Le'Maricus Davidson wanted to drive Channon Christian's Toyota 4Runner SUV, rather than car jacking Christian's boyfriend's Silverado.

I don't know much about 4Runners but I thought the knock on it was that it was real 4WD and not AWD which would be more practical for most female drivers. I think one of the higher trims offers full-time 4WD though?

Correct

The SR5 is available with electronically controlled 4wd

The trail edition (TRD offroad) and TRD pro come with manual transfer case 4wd and locking rear and center diff.

The limited I believe comes with full time awd. I'm going off of memory here, dont feel like looking it up.

The 4runner very much does have "real" 4wd
