I got a subscription to National Geographic for my 5th birthday from my aunt and uncle. Loved it almost as much as the set of World Book Encyclopedias my momma got me that year. I kept that subscription until I was in my 30s.

Just remembered I still have the issue with Earl Campbell on the cover from his rookie season. He was my hero. Met him at a FCA dinner years ago.

Had Playboy for several years. I remember back when they had a special, $14 for 12 issues. I was 15 years old and my parents dgaf. Always looked forward to seeing that black plastic wrapper in the mailbox.

Car mags
Off roading mags
Guitar/rock mags

I could easily go by myself and spend a couple hours in the Barnes & Noble magazine section back in the late 90s

Soldier of Fortune (actually had ads seeking mercenaries).
Bowhunter and Bowhunting- they were thick and full of awesome adventures…hunting mags now basically have ads on every other page to buy stuff.
Athlon’s SEC College Football Preview - That was an awesome edition I looked forward to every late summer.
