Watching the Cecil Vs. The Diesel documentary and the film footage looks like it is 50 years old. I was at LSU when Cecil was playing.

I was watching "Tulsa King" when Sylvester Stallone's character said he was named after General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who happened to be the president when I was born...Then I remembered, there were only 48 states back then.

Called in sick when was really just hungover from watching the Astros and Monday Night Football. No party, wife was out of town and just sat on the back deck by myself, outdoor fireplace, 75” screen, and killed a 12 pack enjoying the cool weather

I would be out of work for 3or 4 days if I killed a 12 pack now. Haven’t done that in 30 years.

I watched that too. He looks like such a small guy now. Good to see that he ended up being a grateful man instead of bitter and/or continuing his bad behavior. Such a waste of talent.

I think about this too. I haven’t drank in 7 years. If i were to decide to start, I know that I’d get absolutely hammered and the hangover would be atrocious. Not only that, I’d be so damn mad at myself.

You definitely get ‘in shape’ regarding drinking and lack of hangover I’d you do it often. I’m very far out of drinking shape.

Got a picture this morning from my niece, who is 10, wearing a Florida Gators shirt to school that used to be my brothers and mine, and the shirt is about 25 years older than she is.

One of the younger employees at work said yes sir to me several times today. He's not a kid or anything. Maybe 24-25 years old

I say "sir" or "ma'am" a lot. It is how I was raised. Nothing to do with the persons age.

Would rather go to Blues brothers concert than a Trailer Swift one...

Amazing this album still holds up in 2023, play it loud and see.

and the movie was done without CGI and had the Star Wars princess in it and the Close Encounters director.
