Did she blow you at 1/2 time? That would make her a keeper in my book.

What made you decide to propose to your (now ex-) wife?
She made a helluva sammich....
Just kidding, it was a moment of weakness.

Not one fricking sentence where she made you a sandwich or gave you a blow job....... Welcome to your first ex-wife

So we said frick that, and we planned a day that we'd go into the actual store to go shopping ourselves, and that was today. She was off work today, so since the weekend we had this day planned to actually go in and get everything we need. We made a list together of everything we needed since then and we were ready to go.
Today when I got off of work, this woman had a piece of paper outlining everything that we had made on the list, and it was literally sorted by the aisle each item was on in the store because she went online and looked at where they were in the store beforehand. So we go there and she has this piece of paper with her and I'll be goddamned if everything we had on the list wasn't exactly where she had mapped out. We had an entire cart full of groceries but we were only in there about 15 minutes before we were in line checking out because of her prep work.
Christ how hard is it to go to a store and get what you need? She had to map out everything you wanted? How hard is it to make a shopping list, go to the store ,and grab the items you want? Have people become so stupid that they can't go to a store and complete a simple task?

I dated 4 bat shite crazy girls in a row. Once I met my current wife, it was just so much easier than all of my previous relationships. It was like a nice breath of fresh air.

Me and my girl went grocery shopping together for the first time. We've ordered online before but everytime we do it seems like half the things on the list is out of stock. And we have substitutions enabled but idk, it doesn't work. As an example we order a thing of sliced mushrooms and they just say yeah its not available. With substitutions you'd think "Ok just give me brown mushrooms instead, or give me whole mushrooms instead and I'll slice them myself" no it's just "we don't have this specific pack of sliced mushrooms you ordered and you have substitutions enabled but we can't do anything you're just not gonna get any mushrooms at all". So we said frick that, and we planned a day that we'd go into the actual store to go shopping ourselves, and that was today. She was off work today, so since the weekend we had this day planned to actually go in and get everything we need. We made a list together of everything we needed since then and we were ready to go.
All this shite to say, “you went to the grocery”
What would have been cooler - if she didn’t make you go to the fricking grocery. That’s a one person job. Does she walk next to you when you mow the grass?

Sounds like she:
A.) Is a control freak
B.) Thinks you’re a fricking idiot who can’t even grocery shop
C.) A combination of A and B
Test her next time by going off list and you’ll likely see the real her.

You’re not going to get the responses you’re hoping for.
In my case, we both loved each other. We had the same goals in life. We met at the right time. We had already pushed through hardship that tested our relationship. The stars just kind of lined up for it. It would have been dumb to put it off any longer. We’re getting married next weekend.

Sounds like you’re in love which is great.
If it’s only been six months give it a while and just focus on deepening your relationship.
It depends on how old you are, but date for a few years before popping the question. You need to make sure you’re out of the honeymoon phase and the relationship is still strong.
