As for the coonass vs redneck... It's tricky.
Not all coonasses are small. Not all rednecks are giants.
Nearly all coonasses don't know when to quit. A lot of north Louisiana baws have lower than average IQs and retard strength.
There's a retarded giant coonass in sorrel who could likely beat up anyone in the state. But I'm sure the equivalent is up there somewhere.

I took a scuba class one time with a guy from over around Castor. He was 6-6, 300+ lbs, had a mechanic shop and was a part time outlaw biker. His nickname was Moose and he had to be fitted with a special tank that looked like a trash can. He was friendly enough but I wouldnt want to be on his bad side. I had a distant cousin who was a biker and I made a mistake of asking if he knew him. A "you done fricked up A-Aron" look came over his face, but all he said was "yeah, I know him" and let it go at that.

I love my heritage and the hard legs we put out down here, but in a straight up 1 on 1 in a ring, the redneck winds on size and corn-fedness alone.
