I'm not a fan of declawing either but that isn't remotely close to the same thing.

We've already discussed your 'cat lady' status on here, remember?

We got a Siamese cat, owned nothing but dogs before this one. Still has his claws, stays indoors and has a couple scratching post. He's really playful and talks ALOT. Siamese are cool cats.

male cats are the most affectionate and the females are often stand offish and tend to bite and scratch more.
also its better to get a cat that's already about 1 year old so its already litter box trained.
one thing about cats is they will 100% hack up a hairball at least every 2 days and you will step on it in the middle of the night lol. its just part of the fun of having a cat and its something they have to do every now and then.
and yes its wrong to declaw them, its there only means of self defense, declawing a cat is like cutting your wrists off, the rest of your life depends on someone else to protect you 24/7 from anything and everything

White, hairless, disease free. But I would sticking with renting not owning. Divorce can be expensive

Mine was a stray. Her mom got hit by a car. She wasn't but at most 3 weeks old. Couldn't leave her.
She's blue and white and she's not declawed. Comes in and out as she pleases.

Sure, let me come by your house and rip off the first joint of all 20 of your fingers and toes.

Yes. It's like taking off your fingers to the first knuckle. If your cat escapes it has no way to defend itself. And they become very skittish (I adopted one who was already declawed and she was always afraid, so I know from experience.
And to answer your first one, get a female Persian.

Given your defense of cats and general outlook, I thought you could help me with this.
I'm soaking in the tub with a white wine spritzer and my wife has lit some candles for me. Should she have all one scent or a mix and does it change the flavor of the wine?
Thanks.

Well, I'm a human, not a cat. So that's just stupid.
It's not the cat's house, it is my house. The cat would be stray, diseased, flea ridden and hungry without me. So I think it's a pretty good trade off. And my cats who love me are totally okay with it.
