I have a sister who used to talk about owning a lion when we would take before we fell asleep.
She has two African cats.

I've got 2 Siamese and they are great pets. The stereotype is that Siamese are mean but mine are chilled out and will let anyone pet and hold them.
One thing I've found is that cats are very quick to hold grudges. Dogs will quickly forgive if a previous owner was a dick. But once a cat loses trust in humans they are slow to give another chance.

I have a Norwegian Forest cat. She's all white, and thus, completely deaf. (She likes the vacuum, stares at fireworks, doesn't move an inch during thunder.) She is fiercely loyal, she literally hates everyone but me. I know she wants to hunt, but b/c she's deaf, I have to go outside w/ her.
My whole family has dogs. But b/c of my hours of work, it would have been cruel to get one. Honest, I'd take my silly deaf cat any day of the week.

I have a Bengal he's badass kills anything in the yard if he sees it first. Also I wouldn't recommend declawing your cat shite is pretty brutal if you look up how they do it.

Totally depends on your personality and needs. One guy might be a skid steer kind of a guy, and someone else a mini excavator.

To be fair my grandmother was lucky to find one at a rescue shelter and then she passed away a year later. But that cat is fricking awesome. Only cat I've ever liked.
