I had some type of Kabuki BMX bike I got from Capital Schwinn on Airline back in late 70's or early 80's. How many of you guys raced BMX there or at the other place in town (Dutches?) around that time period?

Haro master. The top bar on the frame was actually two small bars. 4130 chrome moly. Dia compe Nippon brakes. Oddesey gyro.

Man, I haven't heard of anyone even mentioning one of these in years!
My brother had one. I think we got it at a Western Auto.


I had a Redline 320 at one point


I raced a PK Ripper for a few years. I still have it somewhere, actually.

Dont recall the frame, but was planning to get a RedLine frame.

Rest of bike
- Red alloy rims witn blue spokes
- Blue Competition 2 tires
- Red alloy seat post
- Red alloy v handlebars
- Mongoose gooseneck
- Blue Mongoose seat
- Blue Shimano brakes
- Red chrome moly crank

Its hard to believe that Mongoose became a Wal-Mart bike.

You used to have to go to a specialty shop to even consider one.

First had a Mongoose Decade with a blue and yellow frame with yellow mag wheels and white tires. Then after that one I had an all chrome diamondback viper.
