Went with the wife and kids last week. It was indeed painful! Not sure if you had the same 'lead'/'singer'/'whatever you call it', but I couldn't get over the NY accent. :yack:
The only thing that made it semi-bearable was that the kids seemed to be loving it....

I hiked up to Arthurs Seat just outside of Edinburgh a few years ago, and bumped into a huge group of kids all wearing LSU gear. Turns out it was an LSU geology class on a "field trip" of sorts. Last thing I expected to see while over there, but was a welcome taste of home!...

Great years to be a student! I remember having a 430 pm class. Me and a couple others would run over to the PMAC afterwards to watch em play.
Memory is a little foggy, but I dont remember paying for bball tickets....was it free for students back then or just dirt cheap?...

I really feel like Tua is to Tiger Fans what LF7 was to other fan bases. An incredibly likable guy who just happens to play for the 'other' team.
Hard to find anyone who just doesn't like Tua OR LF7. They are both very high character kids....

I graduated in 2001 and was able to see every home game from 99-2001. It was an absolute blast to watch the Tigers emerge from darker times and begin the journey back to the top. Tiger stadium was loud, packed, and stayed that way through 4 quarters majority of the SEC games.

Big Gulps, Big League Chew, MAD Magazine, those kites with eyes (the black ones were way cooler than those bunk white hawk looking ones!), balsa wood airplanes (with and w/o rubber band propeller), and of course whatever 2 video games were currently in store....... how I miss the 7-11! Solid post!...

Was out there for a 2 week hitch a number of years ago. Depending on which accommodations you're staying in, it isn't too bad. I remember the showers being tiny but thats to be expected....food was good. I actually miss the 'roll' of the platform; made for a good nights/days sleep. Beats the hel...
