Ummm, have you actually researched how profitable they are and what kind of real estate holdings they have?
Ummmmm, yes.

They make more money before 10:30 (breakfast) than most huge companies make all day.
The food is not great (grilled chicken is good for the price), but they are fast, efficient and do a remarkable job of finding great real estate. Pretty much the opposite of Burger King and better than Wendy’s in those particular areas.

McDonalds efficiency and standardization of customer experience is vastly underrated. I
Haven’t they upped the quality of their food, as well? Eg all white meat chicken now?

The brand. At this point, they could serve shite on a bun and make monster profit. Hell, they are not that far off from shite on a bun.

I don’t care about the shakes.

I honestly believe you eat McDonald’s everyday for lunch

This is when I eat Mcdonalds. I'll also snag a McMuffin on the way in to work on occasion.

Mcdonalds is a Real Estate company not fast food
That was Ray Kroc's statement at this last stockholder gathering.

Amazingly this seems to happen far more in Louisiana McDonald’s than ones in others states I’ve lived in

It may not be as quality or as clean as Chick-fil-A or Raising Canes, but I would put McDonald’s cleanliness and consistency ahead of a number of other fast food places. I rarely eat fast food, but it Burger King can make it, then surely McDonald’s has to be doing just fine. Popeyes is a dump. Taco Bell grossed me out just to think about it.

Sales
I’m a business person. I understand that. I also know about their real estate holdings, which wouldn’t be possible without the sales. My question, which I guess I should’ve worded differently, is how do they keep driving sales? Especially with so much competition now.

Like I said, the brand. Stick a McDonalds anywhere and it will generate money. Not to mention the profits they make in foreign countries. I’ve read and heard that foreign countries eat the frick out of McDonalds. They see the golden arches and go apeshit. And their massive marketing doesn’t hurt them either.

I think the regular burger, like the ones in the kids meals, is one of my favorite foods of all time. I wouldn't compare it to a real burger because to me they are entirely different foods. But damn I love those things.
Most McDonalds I see ARE clean. But doesn't matter anyway because I don't exactly dine in
The employees at the ones I visit are definitely better than Popeyes, Burger King, Taco Bell.
I don't find it slow or expensive. Through the app, you can get a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder for $1. All large drinks are $1.

Noted for when you get snobby on the food board.
