I used CloseUp until 10 or so years ago when my wife expressed her hatred for the cinnamon toothpaste. So now we use Crest- I didn't really have an opinion before, I just grew up with CloseUp.

Side Note: When the kids got old enough to finally make the move to Crest from some fruity kid toothpaste was a GREAT day- that shite smelled so terrible!

I second this. Sensodyne is the only brand I know of that doesn't use sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) in their toothpaste. SLS causes toothpaste to fizz, which is functionally worthless. It has been linked to canker sores. I switched a few years back and have noticed a significant reduction in the frequency of canker sores ever since.

I go to the $1 aisle in Dollar General. They always have some variety of Crest or Colgate. I’m not particular as long as it does the job.

I use Tom's as well, not bad for a more natural option.

Crest is my favorite, never considered how good American toothpaste is until I went to Europe and ran out.

Bought some in Rome nasty, threw it out and bought another brand is Dublin nasty.

I like cinnamon. Usually Close up is the only one I can find, but sometimes Colgate is also available.

Doesn’t have that minty aftertaste that lasts for hours.
