I’ll never have cox again. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
GM-had a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Fuel injection went out and they wouldn’t cover it. Told me it fell under the exhaust system which wasn’t covered. I went up the chain as far as I could. Was told there was nothing they could do. I told them if they ended the call without honoring the warranty I’d never buy another GM. That was in 2018. Now every member of my family drives a Toyota.
And of course AB InBev.

Sears… I won
Sears pissed me off in 1983 or so and I haven't been back since. I even went into the store manager's office - I pulled out my Swiss army knife and chopped up my Sears credit card, and left the chunks scattered on his desk.

AB/InBev still. They can make as many working class, good ole boy commercials as they want. Too late.

DIRECTV , in the early 2000's they sued my brother for "allegedly" stealing their service. They couldn't prove it, he never admitted to it. Just because he purchased online some device that would enable him in viewing stuff that they beamed on to his property without his authorization.

Capitol One, they kept mailing by bill late causing late fees. I’m past 30 years of boycotting them at this point.

Most beer companies now because of the ingredient changes, NFL since I studied and found game rigging through officiating (in my opinion, no accusation), and most retailers.

Regions Bank.
I sent my 12 y/o granddaughter a $100 check on my Regions account for her birthday, I asked her to send me a pic holding up her $100 bill when she cashed. She rode her bike to the Regions down the street to cash it. They charged her $6 to cash it.
I forgave them for putting Saban in their commercials, not for screwing a little girl out of $6. I closed the account by the end of the year.

I'm not mad at your position or your actions on this deal but why not just tell them a number that is just high enough to turn it back on. They aren't checking it.

It's none of your contrarian business why I didn't "make up a number" , but because I'm feeling charitable, I'll explain it to you.
Bank of America declining the card without warning was a shitty thing for them to do.
They don't need that number, given my credit score, and exemplary track record with payments to them. I wasn't looking to increase the credit limit on the card.
What they (and you apparently ) fail to realize is that there are a plethora of other and better options out there.
So frick 'em and the horse they rode in on.

I generally give them a number 100k higher than actual. Them voluntarily raising your credit limit helps your credit score. I don't need the extra limit, but don't mind the 800+ score

Pickles hamburger establishment in Seaside FL. Give my son (7yr) a $20 bill to get a milkshake. We are sitting at the picnic tables by the line and figure it’s a good chance to teach him a little autonomy while we can supervise from a short distance. Well…..
He returns empty handed and tell us they told him that they are making his milkshake and will deliver it to him. I ask him where the change was and he said they didn’t give him any. I asked him it he got a receipt, he hadn’t. So I go up to the window and they proceed to tell me they had never seen him before and he didn’t order a milkshake. I asked for the manager, the person working the register said they were the manager.
Safe to say I’ll never go there again.
I guess I should have taught him better but he definitely learned a lesson that day, hopefully it was worth $20 bucks.

Ruth’s Chris. Bolted Metairie for Orlando days after Katrina. I get that. CEO at the time was determined not to reopen the Broad Street location because he thought having a store in a dicey neighborhood was bad for the brand.
