I answer in Russian. They usually hang up pretty quick.

Will answer if expecting a repairman or store to contact me, or if family is traveling and could be calling on someone else's phone. Otherwise, hit the button that sends it straight to voicemail.

If you're not in my contacts, I don't answer. If you're not in my contacts and leave a VM, I will listen to it. If I just see a missed call from a number not in my contacts, I do not call it back.

Do you call back numbers you missed a call from?
No never and no never to both.

If I don't know the number or it's unknown, they better leave a voicemail if they really want to talk to me.

I have had my contacts disappear so many times, I always answer. If it is a telemarketer, I will block the number

If I don’t know the number I don’t answer. If they’re important enough, they’ll leave a voicemail.

Answer all calls from 985,225,504 for work.

All others get forwarded to leave a voicemail. If they don't, they don't get a call back.

Sometimes I don't answer if I recognize the number, I sure as hell don't answer if I don't recognize it.

The only times I have called back missed numbers was if they left a voicemail.

Awhile back I received a call and the guy left a message saying he was going to arrive "to the site" at a certain time and wanted whoever he thought he was calling, to meet him there so I called to let him know I was the wrong person (even though my VM says "This is Chris, leave a message".

I only answer unknown numbers if it's a local area number.

Out of state nope. If it's important they will leave a voice mail and I'll call back

I answer the phone. If it is an unwanted call I say goodbye. Myself and two guys were at the camp one winter. Friend A and I wanted to go stick some flounders. Friend B wanted to stay at the camp and cook. ( read lazy). He asked us to call him if the fish were there. They were. We started gigging. Stringing them up. After about 40 we started calling him. No answer. He didn’t have Friend A ‘s number so he wouldn’t answer. Finished up with 78. Got back to the camp and he was sorry he didn’t answer ! Really a bad deal because we could of been stuck or something.

I very rarely answer or return calls. If I do happen to answer, I hit the button and wait for them to say something.

I get a lot of work-related calls on my cell from unknown numbers, so I typically answer everything I can.

My procedure used to be that I didn't answer any number I didn't recognize. Now I use my personal phone for work as well and have to answer everything. fricking sucks.

I only answer if I recognize the number. Otherwise I let it go to voicemail and check my voicemail to see if it is important.

Too many spam phone calls lately. I still have a LA cell number so the latest scam is they will call from the same area code as you (ex 225) with the same 3 digits of your cell number sometimes as well. Yeah I ain't falling for that crap. Also love the ones that say they are from "The United States"
