97??

They had several jams that year. I lean more to P Diddy “I’ll be missing you”

YMCA or It's Raining Men, Halleluyah.

Both songs can be sung in either Village People uniforms or walk the dinosaur mode, nothing else.

My Senior song was Freebird but I graduated in ‘95 so that made no sense. I love the song and claim that I only voted for it because of peer pressure and that it was agreed I was voting for the Live version.

Should have been Today by the Pumpkins or Today was a Good Day by Ice Cube.

1st song I heard on radio a lot was Another Brick in the Wall and think of it often with politics and current times.

You couldn’t walk 20 feet without hearing that song on somebody’s boom box on Ft Walton beach the few weeks following graduation.

Wagon wheel and I facking hate it. The bar I worked at would boo you off stage if you tried to play it on open mic. We even had a sign up

it was either "you shook me all night long"
or
" London homesick blues"

depending on which crowd you are around those were the two songs that would always get cranked up and people would sing along with if that's not an anthem I don't know what is

Graduated in 2008. From our generation “Yeah” by Usher ft Luda and Lil John would be a tough one to top.
