This year, with Christmas being on a Sunday, the NFL will be on so I am excited about that..

we don't have a lot of them, but I really do feel like the Christmas lights in my house and on the tree put me in a better mood sometimes

being inside when it's cold with a cup of coffee and seeing the Christmas lights is pretty nice

Family time. I work away from home and get this time off.

My wife likes Hallmark movies. Haha

Seeing the kids excited on Christmas morning. Good food and drinks. Also the carols in church.

I enjoy getting to spend the week with my family and them traveling to me rather than me coming to them

I love those few days between Christmas and New Years. The bustle of Christmas is behind you, yet it is still the holidays. Plus, bowl games.

But I love Christmas itself, celebrating the birth of our Savior, and spending time with family.

Time to spend with family
Excitement over Santa and the elf on a shelf
Christmas lights
Christmas trees
bonfires on the levee
drinking and eating
Christmas movies and tv shows

all this. Plus (and I have no children) watching kids get excited about Santa or seeing them all excited about it when they are at an event like Christmas in the Oaks or at any Christmas event. I don't care for children generally, but even my sorry arse has to smile seeing them enjoy themselves at this time of year.
Not to mention the religious significance of the holiday. The birth of Christ was no small event (understatement intended) for mankind, despite what the resident atheists and secularists of the OT say.

I like that I don't have to go to the office for almost two weeks.

My least favorite is LSU becomes a desert in terms of finding quality herb until classes resume.
