For me, it's definitely Biologist. If you know who Forrest Galante is, you know how awesome his life is. He literally spends his life researching and looking for animals that are possibly extinct. He recently found a tortoise that was thought to be extinct on the Galapagos Islands.

Animal Planet

His dream is to find the Thylacine, AKA the Tasmanian Tiger, which he believes is not extinct. He has stayed out in the Australian bush for months searching for them.

People:Tasmanian Tiger

He has probably made his fair share of money now, due to the fact that he has a TV show, but man, if it made money, this would for sure what I would have gone to school for.

Woodworking or refinishing. Not talking fricking chalk paint. I mean an old arse piece of furniture that I made look like a clean old arse piece of furniture. Or restore to like new.

Making furniture in my shop. I love doing it but no one appreciates the amount of work that goes into making a fine piece of furniture. So I give my pieces to family and friends and occasionally do a commissioned piece.

Wish I could carve world class ducks like Dad used to do. He made money, and it was nothing but a hobby to him which branched out into song birds and predatory birds ... but he hated doing it for money. Always felt the need to be perfect when people commissioned a piece.

I like to make bird houses too .... you know, for the birds. Although the women never put mine outside, they always want to display them in their homes.

A couple of years ago I was asked to consider applying to run a local chamber of commerce. It would be a lot of fun but I would take a 50K pay cut and no benefits.

I would have really enjoyed being a high school basketball coach and tried to work my way up. I just know I could not have done the actual classroom teaching part of it.

I can climb up in the cab of an excavator and run one all day long and never get bored. It doesn't pay worth a frick.
