I have a couple of the Days of Thunder cars that they sold at Hardee's see somewhere. I love that movie. Most of my Hot wheels and Matchbox cars are from the 70's and early 80's.

You can find quite a few of those while metal detecting. But they are probably not going to be still in the box, and they might be packed with mud. So don't just run out and buy a thousand-dollar metal detector to find Hot Wheels.

Just watched The History Channel the other night. It showed the competition between Matchbox and Hot Wheels to gain superiority in the market. A good watch... (The Cars that made America is what I believed it was called).
