What is up with drivers in Texas?

So I visit the family in Texas this past weekend and get a loaner car to go drive around (from Dallas to Victoria). What's wrong with people not being able to follow speed limit? I'm going on the left lane doing 5 over 75 (80) and these crazy people fly by me doing 90+. Where are the damn cops? Stuff is ridiculous and dangerous

I am continuously passing those under the speed limit and therefore using the left lane correctly
