When they slow down, they are more likely to try crazy maneuvers to get around you in the right lane. You're going to pretend you never see that?

Left lane is for passing only

Normally I agree with this, but apparently anyone using I-10 yesterday thought the left lane was the fricking parking lot.

We're past that. They're going to break the law.

You staying in the left lane and trying to slow them down yourself (a) isn't going to make them stop speeding and (b) makes the roads more dangerous.

You're making an already dangerous situation more dangerous and your response is "well maybe they shouldn't break the law?"

Having them stop speeding would actually be what is safest for everyone, but like you said that won't happen.

I always find it funny that the people going 20+ mph over the limit are the ones hoping that the dude cruising in the left lane gets a traffic ticket.

I wish I could go that fast. My trucks feels like it's going to shake apart at 75.

So we should all pander to the lawbreakers?

A) yes it is, at least temporarily
B) like I said on the last page. That argument is flawed because speeding is the origin of the variances in vehicle speed.

I'm all for people moving over except to pass, but I don't need to pass a line of trucks going 90 just because some douche rides my arse when he decided I'm not passing fast enough.

You doing this in a medium load 3 lane expressway is doing no one any favors. Just get the frick over. This isnt that hard. Is your fricking ego so bruised that someone passed you that you absolutely have to be a shitweasel and hold up an ENTIRE LANE of vehicles??

How are you pandering to lawbreakers? All I said is that trying to slow them down makes the roads more dangerous. Surely you've seen that. I drive a lot on the weekends and see it all of the time. Things get hairy when someone slows down the left lane and people are forced to pass on the right.

Sure, temporarily. Then they jerk into the right lane, floor it and try to cut back over before they hit the car ahead of them.

Getting out of the way is safer for everyone.

If I'm in the left lane, it means there is someone going slower than me in the right lane. Of there is a line of cars in the right lane going 73, I will be in the left lane passing them likely going 78.

I am not going to squeeze into a small Gap in the right lane and have to brake because some douche decided I'm not passing fast enough in the left lane.

If that person decided to get mad at me, tries to cut in and out of that small Gap due to his own impatience and crash his car, how exactly is that my fault or make me an a-hole?

Or you realize you are impeding traffic. Speed up to their pace for a grand total of 15 seconds and then get over. How do you need someone to explain this to you is mind boggling.

frick that. It is not my duty to make sure your speeding isn't inconvenienced at all. I'm in front of you using the road and lanes the proper way. I'll get over when I pass. I have no obligation to speed up to make sure you don't have to brake.

I hate out of state drivers who don't know how to drive fast.
