I just sold tickets to the LSU/Southern game on Stubhub (been selling tickets I can't use there for years) and was just informed by StubHub that I wouldn't receive my money until 8 days AFTER the game! If the game is cancelled or postponed, I don't get paid at all! Fuc that... and warning to anyone that wasn't yet aware.

They suck but they can't be worse than ticket master.

In that scenario you’d be refunded from your point of purchase, no? Why would stubhub pay you out if they have to refund your buyer?

Probably to avoid fake tickets.

As a buyer I consider this a good thing. Sucks as a seller though. You should have tried to sell them directly to a customer

Crypto can fix this.

Policy sucks for a seller, but if the event gets cancelled it would be better to defer payment than to send an immediate payment and then try to rescind it to provide a refund to the buyer.

I had to wait two years for an event to happen and then get paid because of Covid

I would laugh, but selling on a in hub is ok. Buying from stub hub, SeatGeek, etc. Would make you a tarf.

Those sites charge fees to buyers. This isn't 1980. Buyers should never have fees. Sellers are the one who pays a fee to sell.

For buyers, tickpick. Is the place. No fees for buyer. What it says the tickets cost, are the final costs. Not a pee ticket fee, then premium. Per ticket fee

This has been a thing. It usually doesn't take 8 days either.

You think the seller would just eat the fee and not pass it on to the buyer?

They’ve been doing that ever since the Plandemic. They had to pay buyers back for canceled events and get money back from sellers on those Covid cancelled events.

I get box seats for cardinal games for 14 to 20. Bucks a seat. Same seats are on stub hub,. Have a 3 dollar to more fee per ticket, plus prium fee per ticket if cubs, brewers,Yankees, etc.

I pw personally laughed at stub hub for expecting me to pay almost 12 bucks per ticket extra for same seats. Only ot and man tards would pay stub hubs buyer fees.

It sucks for the seller, but it absolutely makes sense.

If the event is cancelled, the buyer will want a refund. StubHub won't refund them with their own money.
