Ate a live crawfish.

I dropped a pair of brand new 420 Channelocks in a shitter once and after taking a dump I went to the material trailer and told the guy I had just lost a brand new pair of channelocks in the shitter. We laughed about it and about me fishing them out and I told him I wouldn't fish my son out of that nasty bastard. About morning break next morning an apprentice came up and told me they had found my channelocks. The pump truck had cleaned the shitter and they got hung in the hose. The apprentice had them with him. They were brand new when they went in, bright blue plastic handles and shiny polished tool steel....about 24 hours in that shitter and they looked like they had been galvanized....blue plastic was gone and the steel was a uniform grey and kind of hammered, looked like cold galvanized paint. I told him to toss them on the tool buggy meaning to toss the nasty bastards when I had a minute. He did and I forgot about them. About 3 months later I drag up and clean that buggy off and apparently put them in my hand tray....got to the next job and lo and behold there those shitty channelocks are in my hand tray. I decided what the hell, it had been 3 months, and they were brand new when they went in. That was 40 years ago this October and those channelocks are still in my hand tray in my shop. No telling how much money I made over the years with the shitty things. They looks exactly like they looked the day that helper brought them to me. Channelock ought to soak all their tools in a shitter, it worked wonders for that pair!

I would have given you $60 not to post that story so I wouldn't have to imagine that.

Worst regular job was cleaning toilets in HS.
I had to get a job to keep a roof over my head when my mom’s hrs got cut at her job. That was probably my biggest driver to get serious about school when I was 16. I was going down the burnout path before that.
