Ileus after back surgery. My stomach swole up like I was 6 months pregnant. I've never thrown up so much in my life. It made good poisoning feel like a walk in the park.

Crushed my left cheekbone back into my sinus cavity. Had to have a metal plate put in behind the cheekbone and a screw through it to connect when I was 14.

The surgery wasn't all that painful but the incident was rough. It happened on a Friday night, I sat in the emergency room for 3 hours before I finaly got an xray. They said the xray was fine and nothing was wrong. On Sunday they called me back in and did a CAT scan and found I had broken all 3 bones around my eye. I hope whoever looked at the initial xray that Friday found a new line of work.

For me, gal bladder attack.

I was sleeping when it happened, woke up and I was in the worst pain ever. I couldn't move at all. Ended up having to call the ambulance. They had to drive like 20 miles an hour because every time they hit a bump I would scream like a little bitch.

I pulled my own abscess tooth. It was painful but not like you're making it out to be.

Kidney stones

I hope I never get these. My brother in law is kind of a strong dude, not someone you would see crying over anything. When he had kidney stones, he was in tears. Ive heard people say how painful they are, but when my sister told me he was literally crying.. I knew it was something you don't want to frick around with.

The funniest injury I ever had was jumping off a raised basketball court (out in a field surrounded by trees) going after a loose ball. Caught the ball, turned to throw it back on the court and landed on a tree root and tore all the ligaments on the outside of my ankle. The funny part was I was wearing a clamshell body brace from breaking my back a couple months prior. The brace covered my torso and down my right leg to my knee with a hinge at the hip. The next day I was on crutches with a cast on my left leg, brace on my right leg and my torso braced up to my collarbone and shoulder blades. It was embarassing telling people how I hurt my ankle.

Testicular torsion, an asphalt roof shingle thrown like a throwing star into my left eye, a pilonidal cyst and a fractured occipital bone.

Agreed, I dove for a ball after running at full speed. Dislocated shoulder, fractured a bone, torn labrum, rotator cuff, and bicep tendon. Required surgery. Easily the worst pain in my life.

Injury? Several bad ankle sprains in HS and college.

Pain? GOUT, GOUT, GOUT and GOUT. It has brought tears to my eyes on 2 different occasions. I wanted to amputate from mid thigh on down during these 2 occasions.

If there is pain worse than passing a kidney stone, I hope I never feel it.

Three broken ribs and I sneezed. Had other broken bones, surgeries but none hurt as bad as sneezing with broken ribs!

Gallbladder pain that lasted 2-3 hours per episode. Worse than my tooth abscess, traumatized testicle, sciatica pain from L5-S1 herniation and any hangover I've ever had.
