What is the stupidest thing you ever did because of a girl?

When I was in ninth grade I had a big crush on a girl that was in the tenth grade. I would do anything to be in her presence. I got to school late one day and had to check in at the office.
She was in there and she was told she would have detention because of so many days in a row tardy. I was like ok I’m going to have detention too and I didn’t have my belt on.
This was a private school so I got what I wanted .... detention. I was thinking we would all be in the same classroom and I would try sit next to her and talk to her. I got in the classroom and she never came and I was like I wtf.
After a hour of boring detention I saw two other classrooms with people leaving out of there.
I saw her get in her dad’s truck and that was it. I didn’t know there was three classrooms for detention and everything I planned out was a failure. I took that as a sign like nope not happening.
It worked out because I saw her on the news a couple of years ago for child neglate and was arrested. Looking back at it I feel like a jackass for doing something stupid like that.
