I've never once read about a battle and wished I had been there.

Most:
Battle of New Orleans
Least:
Probably the battle between Genghis Khan and the
Khwarazmian Empire. Fighting for the khwarazmain.
But being a solider for Russia in wwII would have really sucked also.

I would have liked to drop in with the Airborne the night before D-day and stay at least through the link up with the amphibious forces.

I was a paratrooper and it would have been good to interact with the folks that forged our great Airborne legacy.

Least - Battle of Third Ypres (aka Passchendaele)

Fuuuuuuuuck being apart of that battle. Really you can pick any WWI battle and that would be in the running for my least favorite one.

I would also like to say frick being apart of Chosin Reservoir.

The one battle I would like to have been apart of is Fallujah when the USMC completely bitch slapped the goat frickers.

For - one of the crushing defeats of the Zulu’s e.g Battle of Ulundi 5,000 British soldiers and only 13 died...I like those odds

Against - WW1 all of it

Most: Battle of Tours. I would've gladly laid down my life for the Hammer.

Least: I dunno. Antietam probably.

Most? Joining the Freedom Riders or anywhere for National Guard where they enforced desegregation at schools during Civil Rights Movement.

Least? Paoli Massacre of the Revolutionary War is a good one off the top of the head.

Battle of Manila Bay, the US only had one casualty, it was from heatstroke. We kicked Spain’s arse
