Whichever battle in which I wouldn’t die or be permanently physically or mentally scarred by.

I'd be curious about First Manasses.

Just to see how it all played out in real time. I don't want to live it, just want to see it.

One battle that I don't believe has been mentioned is Gallipoli Campaign, the casualty rates were horrific

Turks had 315,000 troops at the battle, they incurred 250,268 casualties and they won.

Their German allies lost 527 of their 700 troops.

Australia had 50,000 troops at the battle, with over 26,000 casualties.

French had 79,000 troops, with 47,169 casualties.

The British had 345,000 troops, with 250,790 casualties.

Don't know if my dad served in this particular battle but he did serve in New Guinea. One of the most brutal theatres of the war.

I can't imagine wanting to be in a battle but probably in a war of northern agression battle somewhere I'd say the red river campaign where a couple of thousand Confederates ran forty thousand of the yankee scum out of north Louisiana.

Least some of the New Guinea action.

With either one, I’d have to find a way to make a tit pop out and end up in my mouth.

Then they’d have to find a way to break the vacuum seal from all the suction.

Bastogne.

Cold as frick, but that stand was legendary. And the cameraderie among the men who fought there was something special.

Not exactly a battle.
I'd like to lead a mission to take out Hitler, in 1936.
At the Olympics.

Least: crew in the water after the Indianapolis went down.

My dad did two that fit the op model.
Flew 26 day missions over Italy. Purple heart for #26.

Volunteered to fly 82nd airborne in glider just before dawn the morning of Normandy.
Distinguished flying medal.
