Most: D-Day, no question. 10K casualties out of 156K.

There might be some more pussy ones, but badass fights where you had a very high chance of survival, that’s the one for sure.

Least: It’s a 3 way tie: Stalingrad, the Somme, and Cannae. Those would have fricking sucked.

Look more through history. 3,000 killed total in that battle and it lasted a single day. Read more about WWI or any pre-Renaissance battle if that was the one you’d least like to fight in.

Even though my chances of survival would have been minimal, I would have liked to be part of the D-Day Invasion. I would have liked to be a part of Patton’s Third Army.

The battle lasted less than 12 hours. Your chances of survival were pretty high if you weren’t in the first wave of Omaha.

Ummm, that’s a battle of pretty certain death unless you were in the back of the Persian lines. Plus you have to brutally stab people multiple times, which makes it worse than guns.

The battle of Gondor. It would've been amazing to fight alongside Aragorn son of Arathorn to determine the fate of Middle Earth

Would want none of any but if I could pick one war to miss it would absolutely be WWI. frick that noise.

If I had to pick one battle to be in it would probably be in that Tank attack in the first Gulf War. Pretty certain I'd survive that one.

10,000 casualties total out of 156,000, only which 4414 died. 1/35 chance of dying, which is roughly the same as putting your life on the line of a roulette wheel. It was badass and basically a best case scenario. Go look up the Battle of Somme sometime, where there were 60,000 British casualties the very first day. Or how about Stalingrad, where you were way more likely to die than survive. Even Iwo Jima was much worse than Normandy. Normandy doesn’t crack the Top 50 in battles you’d least like to fight in. The only reason people list it is it’s probably the most easy battle to romanticize, which is the reason it’s not in the worst. No one romaticizes the Battle of the Somme.
