What battle would you least like to have fought in?

You are not guaranteed to survive or die in either scenario.

I just want to be the battle artist that sat on the adjacent hill and got to paint cool pictures of Civil War battles.

I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to be the fife player or drummer in those battles. No thank you.

None. I'm not trying to die.

People did what they had to do. They should be honored and respected for that. But this glorification of war shite is for the birds.

Who said anything about glorifying anything? It’s just asking if you had to choose, what specific moment in time would you have chosen to take part in

Most: the US had some naval battles during the Spanish American War where they pretty much had no casualties.

Least: One of the long-term trench battles during WWI.
