Yeah. I do think it's weird that people travel to Key West without knowing things about it that are common knowledge at least in this region, but nonetheless I've heard it repeatedly throughout my life.

Australia Gold Coast has an average beach, voracious sharks and the world's worst hotel casinos.

TBH I didn't know Key West didn't have beaches, but I would definitely have found out if I were planning a trip there.

Yep. Key West is amazing, but if you want to do the beach thing that is not a good spot at all. Since you know, there’s basically no beaches

And let's be clear, there are varying degrees of "beach" in KW, but nonetheless it's not what many people expect
