Those are good choices.

For me the single nicest place is the grounds at Houmas House.

I’ve never been to Grand Isle. I noticed nobody mentioned it. Is it not beautiful?
If you like the scenery of Mississippi beaches but with a bunch of rock breakwaters, you’ll think Grand Isle is beautiful

I really love the areas between Leesville and Many along Toledo Bend. Rolling hills lush forest. Very unpopulated.

Atchafalaya basin from I-10 up to 190 is nice.

Southern California is much more beautiful than Louisiana.

Northern California is much prettier than SoCal. I only get back to Louisiana every few years but I definitely want to see some of them areas that are mentioned in this thread.

Atchafalaya Basin or Chandeleur Islands.

South Louisiana's coast, marshes, and swamps beat anything in North Louisiana. What's in North Louisiana could be in just about any other state.

But then North LA has hills and uneven terrain… we’re flatter than Taylor Swift

I really want to drive to Venice one day just to do it. Maybe check out Fort Jackson along the way.

I think you can find beauty in almost anything depending on the mood.

I find the Atchafalaya Basin beautiful, vast, mysterious, especially when the moon is bright.

I can also find the gritty, shadowy alleys of New Orleans by Jackson Square to be beautiful.
