Best thread yet, SS.
Divorced parents. Sister I haven't spoken to in 8 years. Raising my first kid (9 months) and trying to pretend that I know wtf I'm doing.

Selling my parents' house. We've had it on the market for like,8 days and the real estate agent already wants to lower the price by $75K.

I was single for two years and it was like as soon as I stopped "trying" I started meeting girls worth a shite and, eventually, my girlfriend. Having kids made it that much more difficult for me to forge a bond with someone because I would hate for my kids to lose someone they love because dad and her broke up.

Life is pretty ok over here. Biggest stress is getting my son through the next 12 months post-surgery and hoping he doesn't need any additional surgeries. But he is handling it like a champ, and it's nothing life threatening. Other than that, my second biggest stress is finances. Medical bills crept up into the 5-figure range this year, on top of daycare costs and student loans, and other expenses we took on before our first kid was even a thought, etc. We're getting by, but it's hard not to notice that it's all a delicate house of cards that could be leveled in a second if either of us lost our jobs.

Yeah. Women can tell when you are desperate and don't have other options. Not attractive qualities at all

Idk, just not sure if I'm ready sometimes

My biggest stress is my $32K credit card debt.

I have a pretty high stress job where I'm losing the little support I have. On the bright side I'm being offered a promotion to get out of the stressful position. To counter that bright side, I'll have to move to a different state at the same time that I am having my first child. My wife will have to find a job when she is on maternity leave, etc. Even the good breaks I'm catching are stressful due to timing.
Plus I'm constantly worried about the health of my son when he's born. Nothing shows to be out of the norm, but it's nerve racking to wait.
