I went skydiving in the Swiss Alps. 14,000’ above the Alps was cool

Love these lowlands myself. Prettiest place I’ve ever seen is Lake Clark National Park. Not easy to get there, but truly a special place.

Swamps can be remarkably beautiful. Especially if they aren’t well traveled/popular hunting and fishing spots with trash arse people’s trash everywhere.

Or the drive between Durango and Telluride in the fall.
I traveled to Durango on business in January. We got there a day early and did some sightseeing. We drove up to Silverton from Durango and I have to say it was the most awe inspiring thing I’ve ever seen.

Camped on an island between the North and South Sawyer Glaciers in Tracy Arm once. Felt like we were the only people in the world.

Any of the major lakes at Glacier National Park during the day. The sun makes the lakes (Limestone) look like they're almost glowing an aquamarine color.

In Alaska in this little town named Talkeetna. I walked over to wear two rivers met and said down with my beer and just stared for an hour.
In the background was Denali. With the mountain in view and the rapids in the river and clear blue sky, it was pretty damn amazing.

That's my favorite spot in Talkeetna. Saw two ladies bathing nude in the river first time I was there.

The Salkantay Pass, Peru in the middle of the night when I woke up to take a piss.
Walk out of my tent in the freezing cold at 14k feet and I’m in a plain surrounded by mountain peaks with no electricity to be seen. The stars are brighter than you can imagine and no one else is awake. Truly humbling experience.
