All I remember is seeing some ole baw with a shotgun coming out of the bedroom, lifting the gun up and dropping aim on me....I ran out of that house so fast, thinking any second he was going to pull the trigger. I ran so damn fast, dove over the hood of my car, he must have just said, frick it and never shot.
ETA: Once I managed to get my keys out of my pocket, got in the car and took off like a bat out of hell...that was a damn good feeling just to be alive.
