I didn’t smoke for years while I was in and then tried once after I discharged and it was hell. I was so paranoid and thought I may actually be having a heart attack

I haven’t touched it since.

It’s funny the way some people react to various strains and types.

Yeah that woukd be the next thing My personal view is shite that grows naturally shouldn't be a controlled substance. If you have to use plants to make a compound (coca plant for cocaine, poppy plant for opium) then the compounds should be treated differently for sure but if it just so happens to grow that way, then God put that plant there for reasons right? At least that's what I tell my religious friends. I don't have to add a bunch of chemicals and put it through other reactions and break it down to get the final drug. Weed and Shrooms just grow that way and they are what they are. How fricking dare you try to control a naturally growing plant/fungus like that

Have you tried edibles? Might take care of the headache.

Not anything legit. I had some stuff by folks who had no clue what they were doing. It was always really hit or really miss.

I may dive back in one of these days. We'll see.

Shrooms and truffles.

If oregon legalizes it in november for medical use, I'll be on the front lines.

I mean sure. And Salvia. Basically if it's able to grow naturally I don't think the government should be able to seize control of it. Or at least say they shouldn't be able to restrict it. If people want to sell products obviously that would go into business ventures but at its heart its a goddamn plant/fungus. It aint something built in a lab

like Louisiana where the revenue that will come from it can improve the state.

I’m all for legalization but that money won’t actually be used to improve anything in this state

I agree 100%.

And as a native american, I'm not a big of fan of peyote as I probably should be. Almost want to regulate its use though because of how rare it could become and how important it is to other tribes who we would battle and kill each other with.

Not all about manufacturing a chemical that isnt natural and organic. I dont alter chemistry.

Lots of old white folk don’t like anyone having pleasure without negative consequences. I worked with one who just hated the “something for nothing” attitude. Why not?

They would be upset if you had an orgasm without producing a pregnancy or getting VD. The thought of some stoner winning the lottery is more than they can take. Smoking weed after work for a pleasant buzz should, in their mind, cause cancer or at least a long jail term.

You can’t just have fun. There must be consequences.

Grandstanding for the old religious folks.
And still figuring out how to line the politician's pockets.

Industry professional here and this is it imo. Basically waiting for the older generation to pass away and no one will care anymore. Louisiana already figured out how to get their’s by making licenses strictly through LSU and SU. It’s why I refuse to move home until it opens up on a recreational level. It’s a principle thing for me.
