I've only seen this in Wal-Mart, but when 2 - 3 black women put all their things in one shopping cart, only to have to dig through the cart at the register so each one can retrieve "their" stuff. Then there's the inevitable discussion "this isn't mine - is it yours? I didn't put this in the cart - did you?" Instead of one sale or transaction, there's 2 or 3, and it never fails to take way too long to accomplish while I wait behind these women, secretly seething.
Also, people who have to add the phrase/question "you know what I'm saying?" at the end of practically EVERY damn sentence. NO, a-hole, I DON'T know what you're saying. If I already knew, what is the point of our conversation?

Of the things i do not recall seeing in the thread:
-people that leave their obnoxiously loud music on while they walk into a gas station.
-the "my kid is the greatest" people.
-people that brag how good of a fisherman/ball player they are, then you invite them....and they cannot do anything.

Popping gum, whistling, smacking. hearing somebody get texts every 30 seconds, people talking on speaker phone, people talking loudly on cells in an office, not using turn signals, loud engines, sniffing, excessive throat clearing, loud exhaust, sunflower seeds

This is pretty much 90% of people with kids...
For the most part, I think most rational people eventually become aware of their kid's ability and where they compare with other kids, but when the kid is still a baby or toddler, everyone thinks their kid is "smart".
I don't even know what people define as smart anymore.

I work in IT, the one that gets me most often is abbreviating "Stored procedures" to "stored procs"

For me it's when people mispronounce certain words.
