You thought smoking bans was a scam? How so?
There was “science” out there that claimed second hand smoking was bullshite. A show I used to watch called bullshite by Penn and Teller did an episode and then had to retract it when it was proven that second hand smoke can cause lung cancer. Back in the day smoking was associated with the rich and the young. People that wanted the smoking ban were looked at like old evangelicals trying to remove sin from the public. Smoking wasn’t viewed as the white trash thing it is nowadays.

Smartphones. I never thought it would catch on with the mainstream. Then, social media happened and it was all over from there.

Credit scores are probably considered even more of a scam now

The bigger scam IMO was the "smoking section" separated by a partition that was only 4 feet off the ground that people just rolled with for years.
When I was a kid there was no partition. Just this 4 ft aisle separates smoking and non smoking.

The biggest scam perpetrated on the American public since one hour martinizing.

Honestly it doesn't matter if you read it or not. It's a take-it or leave-it scenario.
That used to be called adhesion, but we've seemingly abandoned that as a legal concept.
