Maaaan, I dunno. Out of town this week, @ the Roosevelt, she set the thermostat @ 65 last night, she woke up before me, turned it up to 76 this am, said she was cold. Well, duh...

Most if not all women think the same about thermostat settings. Mine would exit the shower and head straight to the thermostat, move it from 72 to 68, then sit on the bed to read. Of course, she would forget that she adjusted it and then complain she is cold and ask me to check it, Repeat almost daily.

I stopped trying to convince mine of this AND, that she doesn't have to wait for the water to get hot after I shower because we have an on demand water heater.

78/79 when we're not home.
77 at night for our bedroom. daughter puts hers at 76 to sleep. i think ice forms on the windows. all the warm air stays up top. (18 ft ceiling in BR)
plus ceiling fan on low. and 8" fan blowing toward bed mainly for the noise.
Wife freezes during night.

I'm convinced he tries to be unlikeable and I'm also convinced he has debt out the wazoo. Lives in a overpriced suburban house with a high interest rate and overpays for insurance. He also has a brand new diesel 3/4 ton with a bed cover and hates Toyota Tundras. Especially the previous models with the 5.7 V8.

After you watch enough family and non-family women grow up, you come to realize that they are encouraged to act dumb or ditzy from a very young age. The proportion with faulty thinking may be about the same as men, but many spend their entire lives thinking smart is a handicap.

Once you reach a certain point financially, the AC becomes a "run to fail" maintenance strategy. I will burn it all down and build a new one if I have to.
